Coffee Shop

I have little to no experience writing the atmosphere and vibes to an environment, describing it in such a way that people could imagine themselves in it.

But I have read something like it before, from Robert something, a writer/youtuber I used to follow and listen podcasts to.

I remember reading about his experience sitting in a bookstore, on the side of the road, people watching. A story about an old man. With his umbrella, voicing out his thoughts. I don't remember what the story is about, but there is a certain atmosphere to it. Nostalgic, brownish, dark - academia as the writer would describe himself.

It was articles, short stories, that he would publish each week, and I looked forward to it, probably for about a month. I think that's what got me into writing also, part of it. I was 16.

I just searched it up, his name is Robin Waldun. He's still at it I see, doing video essays, tips and book recommendations. He goes by the name R. C. Waldun, I remember looking up to him, listening to his thoughts and learning a lot from it.

Then he released a book, I still don't know what it's about, but the reviews came in and people start saying that he's a wannabee, pretentious with his work, "he's just another youtuber trying to write a book after all", and even after that, he keeps making videos, owning those critics and if I remember saying that he's got more to learn, which to me, is highly respectable.

Maybe he does not know what he's doing, but at least he tries.
